Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - How to farm Rare & Common Blade Cores

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has a myriad of interesting and unique Blades to add to your party. Because of the random element, every player will have a unique experience with the game in the opening hours of the main story. If you want to get as many options as you can, this video will show you my farming method for Common and Rare Blade Cores, which can be done at the start of Chapter 4 of the main story!
Rare cores have a decent chance at providing the "unique" Blades which bond faster and have more effects and skills. And, albeit at a smaller rate, Common cores also have a chance to provide you with one. To give you an idea of your chances, out of the 19 Common Cores I've bonded with, 2 of them were unique.
