Here are the 10 Key Changes in India’s New Labour Law Codes! 👇

1. Government will ensure Statutory Minimum Wage for all workers now, not only the workers with specific salary level.

2. The 50% Salary Rule:
~Your Basic Pay must now be 50% of your total salary (Higher PF/Gratuity!)

3. Gratuity in 1 Year:
~Fixed-term staff get Gratuity after just 1 year of work (not 4 years and 8 months anymore)

4. Gig Worker Security:
~First-ever Social Security Fund for all Gig & Platform workers.

5. Double Overtime Pay:
~Overtime is mandatory at Twice the normal wage rate.

6. Easier Paid Leave:
~Qualify for annual leave after 180 working days (down from 240).

7. Accident Coverage:
~Commute accidents between home and work are now covered!

8. Night Shift for Women:
~Women can work night shifts in ALL sectors (with consent & safety).

9. Mandatory Job Letter:
~Every worker must receive a formal Appointment Letter.

10. Free Health Check:
~Free annual health check-ups for workers over 40.

Bonus: Employers are mandatorily required to pay Salary within 7th of a month. And Full and Final Settlement after termination/resignation must happen within 2 days ensuring financial stability for workers.
