Dai 2 Ji Super Robot Taisen Original Generation : Shiva Volkruss attack compilation

So, here we have the original "God of Destruction" from the classical continuity. According to researchers, Volkruss is the remains of the feelings of hatred from a race of giants that lived in La Giars and died from some sort of cataclysm some millions of years ago; for that very same reason some of your characters don't really refer to him as "a God", but rather as a simple ghost with a grudge. Volkruss himself doesn't seem too divine, it has shown a pretty primitive train of thought and is pretty much a kaiju monster simply vent in destroying everything; in fact I'm surprised that he learned kanji for this game. Also, the name "should" be romainzed as Volcruz

Regardless of what your characters think, Shiva Volkruss is part of a divine trinity in La Giars, which I believe is composed by the God of Balance, the God of Destruction and the God of Creation. BTW, summoning Volkruss "whole" to our plane is a pretty daunting task as he is usually kept under several seals which are placed all across La Giars, but summoning it's avatars, the "Lower part" of Volkruss and the "Upper part" is much more feasible and they show up in the game as heavy class enemies a lot. This video showcases the upper part, the lower part and complete Volkruss in that order. Being an evil God, Volkruss needs the good old diet of negative feelings, despair, fear, chaos and conflict to keep himself in top shape. While some characters do question its "divine" status, none of your characters can deny that he has pretty much a rather strong magical presence and thus it's a hassle to handle him.

For the ps3 game, the Volkruss that we see is not the Volkruss from La Giars but rather a Volkruss that Euzeth summoned from another dimension using a cross gate, and it doesn't necessarily mirror the status / power of "our" Volkruss, which was already defeated by Shuu in La Giars shortly after your guys fought Feil Lord & Kirkus.

I'm not 100% sure about the names, but if I'm right the attacks showcased in the vid are, for the Upper part : Kagitsume , Hyper Sonic Wave & Astral Buster. For the Lower part : Kagitusme , Hyper Sonic Wave & Astral Buster. For the complete form : Kagitsume , Hyper Sonic Wave , Jouka no Homura & Astral Buster
