Meet Nikita, Trish and James

Meet Nikita, and her parents Trish and James.

Nikita, 29, has Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, a severe form of epilepsy. She was born a healthy baby, but at 6 months of age she started having fits, and it gradually got worse until she was formally diagnosed with the rare syndrome at three years of age.

They have been using Carer Solutions and their Direct Employ service since it first began over 11 years ago. For years they had been searching for a way that they could support Nikita without having to use traditional agencies and institutions.
