Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley is yet to receive a report from the Law Association outlining their concerns surrounding Chief Justice Ivor Archie.

At Thursday’s Post Cabinet Media Briefing, Attorney General Faris Al-Rawi, Minister of National Security and Communications, Stuart Young, and Minister in the Ministry of the Attorney General, Fitzgerald Hinds, all shied away from commenting on the matter.

They reiterated however that it’s a matter strictly for the Prime Minister.

The Attorney General said the Constitution has to guide the process and the asked that the public respect the process.

Under Section 137 (3), the Association can write to the Prime Minister who can then communicate to the President requesting an investigation as to whether a judge should be removed from office.

The Law Association on Tuesday voted to send a Committee report to the Prime Minister about their concerns surrounding Chief Justice Ivor Archie.
