This week on the Golf Show we review the Garmin G80 Approach GPS with built in Launch Monitor. With 41,000 preloaded courses, there is no question this handheld device is good, but is it £400 ($550) good?

In this extensive Test, Paul explains the functionality on the device. He tests the Garmin in a swing centre against GC2+HMT and also out on the course. A European Tour player compares it against his £20,000 GC Quad, to measure how accurate the G80 is against the very best technology out there.

Will the Warm Up (i.e. Launch Monitor mode), Practice and Virtual Round functions on the G80 justify the price tag on what is otherwise a GPS device? Does the battery really last 15 hours as the manufacturers claim?
