RACI, which stands for Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed, is an acronym used to define roles and responsibilities within project management. At SnapCab, we implement the RACI system to organize projects, particularly focusing on our standard operating system known as the DNA Index. The DNA Index is an extensive online Folder system accessible to all employees, serving as the central hub for collaborative work.

Within the DNA Index, individuals who are responsible, accountable, consulted, and informed actively engage with the files stored in the system. For instance, our marketing team, led by the marketing manager, assumes accountability for all marketing-related files housed under their designated section in the DNA Index. When the art department team accesses and works on these files, they operate within the manager's realm, as the manager is ultimately accountable for all art department projects. Through the DNA Folder System and the defined roles of RACI, our leadership team are able to gain access and visibility into the ongoing projects across various departments, enabling them to stay informed on a daily basis.

Previously, we relied on Job Sheets as an organizational tool. However, as the company expanded, it became clear that this system was not scalable. Inconsistencies in the sheet's design and usage led to confusion. The current DNA System ensures accountability within each department, with designated individuals responsible for their respective teams, while also keeping the accountable person informed. This system is not only functional but also enhances accountability throughout the organization.
