Cultivating Language Learner Motivation and Reflection Through Portfolios | PD Extravaganza 2023

Learn how to boost student motivation and engagement as well as meaningful reflection through the implementation of portfolios in the language classroom. Participants will leave this session with a clear understanding of the benefits of portfolio and how to implement them in their context. Using technology to advance reflection and growth, ePortfolios can help promote learner motivation. In this session, participants will explore how to integrate the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Language’s (ACTFL) Can-Do Statements with self-reflection tools in ePortfolios for younger students of novice-beginner levels of proficiency.
