We took a Christmas night walk through the lights downtown, then headed to the province to pick up fresh eggs from our neighbor near the land we’ll be building on. 🇵🇭 This is real life in the Philippines — simple moments, kind neighbors, and giving back.

Her husband recently helped us by clearing a fallen tree branch that blocked the road, so we stopped by with a small Christmas gift to say thank you. This is the kind of everyday kindness you experience when living in the Philippines.

We also checked out our cleared property where we plan to build, spent time talking with our neighbors, and enjoyed a quiet Christmas season here in the province. This is why we love living in the Philippines.
