How to change oil and filter on a 2011-2013 VW Jetta w/ 2.5L motor (EA855 R5). Similar to 2006-2011 Jetta, GTI, Passat and Golf (Mk6 or 6th Generation), 2004-2008 VW Rabbit (Mk5 or 5th Generation), and 2003-2009 VW Golf (Mk5 or 5th Generation).

Uses 6.5qts VW spec 502.00 or better fully synthetic oil such as Mobile 1 0w-40 or Castrol Edge 5w-40.

Torque specs are as follows:
Drain Plug 22 ft lb or 30Nm
Oil Filter Housing 18.43 ft lb or 25Nm
