SALES:
The exchange of a thing of value with other thing of value with mutual
consent.

TYPES OF SALES:

I. BAI MURABAHA: Sales in which cost of good and profit is disclosed to the customer.

II. BAI MUSAWAMA: It's a bargain Sales in which cost of good and profit is not disclosed to the customer.

III. BAI TAULIA: Where sales price is equal to the cost of goods purchased.

IV. BAI WAZIA/WADIA: Where sale price is less than the cost of goods purchased.

V. BAI ISTISNA is an order to a manufacture sale to produce a specific commodity for the purchaser. Often applied to manufacturing and constructions
projects.

VI. BAI SALAM: A Sale transaction where the seller undertakes to supply some specific goods to the buyer at a future date against an advance price fully paid on spot but the supply is deferred.
100% Advance payment for delivery of homogeneous/agricultural goods.

VII: BAI MUQAYAZA: It refers to barter sales which do not include currency.

VIII: BAI SURF: Referred sale of gold, silver in currency. e.g. Money Exchange.

IX: BAI MUAJJAL:
Sale in which delivery of goods is on s payment is
deferred in future date. (Credit Sales)
