I know, i know... reckless boy. You can see from my collectables that i finished only the first island, learning controls and immediately Crashed into this... no? ._.'

On a side note, i did play Crash 3 back in 1998 with my family on PS1 (and a little bit of Crash 2) but i have never played the first one.

I saw that this achievement was around 2% so i thought: sure, let's give it a go. If i couldn't get this platinum then i had no business playing this game. The achievement requires a gold relic at least but not in my book. I had one goal: "platinum or nothing"

You can make that jump if you get there faster. I used to do it. But i mistimed my previous jumps that lead to this platform which results in forcing me to take the other route which is waiting a bit for the platform to cycle. No big deal though. The reaction of changing my jump midair was crucial though otherwise i would've hit the spikes.
Also, near the end in general i started playing it safe. I'm sure you could go faster than that or even tank a hit with the mask to skip a waiting part.

All jumps and shortcuts are my original planning. Probably what everyone playing this game had done previously but i am doing things on my own without any guides.
