DIY Christmas tree skirt * Fancy on a budget*

Hey lovelies welcome back to my YouTube channel so today I'm making a DIY tree skirt.
All others I found to fit my new large tree base were £50+ ( I can't have 70cm or smaller) and that is just for wicker! £50 for a wicker tree skirt. So I said to myself no way I'll make my own. This was made for £27 and others similar I've found online retail for £100+ so I'm super happy.


Dimensions of my tree skirt is 80cm wide
50cm deep and 40cm high

The mdf strips were 2.5 inch ( the ones added as trim)

The skirting board was 3 inch skirting from B&Q and I used 2 of these

The small trim is moulding also B&Q

The MDF used was a large sheet (22mm thick)
Cut down as was cheaper than buying smaller bits. You get up to 5 cuts for free in B&Q then 50p each cut thereafter. So I got all of my MDF cut to size instore as I only have a chip saw to cut the planks and trim.

Paint is trim paint by Frenchic in shade Riad Red
