My Eccojams visual album has reached its 5th anniversary! And although I'm happy with it, there are some aspects from the end result that I would love to fix or replace. But at the same time, I don't wanna do a George Lucas and delete the original video. So I will be remaking some of the videos used on the visual album, but uploaded as separated and optional videos. This treatment won't apply to all of them, just on the ones that I think they could have better editing/updating the rendering to 60fps, especially on the "fast-forward" effect, which I didn't take in mind when making the visual album back in 2018.

The last eccojam of the album! For this one, I didn't need to interpolate the frames of the TV'S TV video, because when played on fast forward, it would render to 60fps still. I choose another gameplay video of Ecco the Dolphin because the original was on 30fps and I didn't feel the need to increase it's framerate. And for the last one, the most emotional part of the visual album, I rendered the fast forward to 60fps (along with the VHS noise), and added a new VHS error filter at the end. And speaking of the end, wait to see an important message.

Overall, a nice experience to redo some of the videos from my Eccojams visual album, since the original proyect file is now lost media forever (I lost it on an HDD failure just two months after being completed, and curiously, one week shy after I completed Assorted Vaporwave #2 with visuals).

And before you ask, would I make a visual album of the Asterite/Strawberry/Collected Echoes version of Eccojams? The answer is that I don't think so, the original cassette rip, although is of bad quality, I think that gives it a lot more of texture and feeling, a kind of lo-fi atmosphere, and because of that it grew for me better than the other rips with better quality.

Nevertheless, expect something related with Collected Echoes in then near future...
