Let me start with the fact that you should not hesitate from discussing all or any kinds of pregnancy tests with your doctor.

These tests are usually done under many circumstances:
• You are about to start planning a baby
• You are about to start an infertility treatment
• You have been trying for a baby for long and want to diagnose the underlying issue.


Some questions that I would like to answer in particular in this video regarding my experience:
• What is AMH Testing
• What is Semen Analysis

There are many pre-conception tests like genetic screening, pap smear etc. these are just the tests I went through!

AMH test:
AMH stands for Anti-Mullerian Hormone.
It is a blood test;
IT gives us an idea of how many eggs are left in our ovaries.

A woman is born with one billion eggs and gradually these eggs are released during the menstrual cycle if she does not get pregnant.
With our biological age, the quality and no. of these eggs keep getting depleted.

My experience:
I got an AMH test done too.
When we decided to have a baby, we went and saw our gynaec to understand if there is anything we need to know or any tests that we needed to get done.
My AMH count was very low and that’s why I consider my little one a miracle baby.
