On July 11, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK, a group of Native American activists called SPIRIT(Society to Preserve Indigenous Rights and Indigenous Treaties) along with their allies (BLM, WAR - Whites Against Racism, CAIR and others) held a rally to protest the Land Run Memorial statues.

There was a group of armed "Patriots" in attendance as well whose states purpose was to keep the peace and the ensure that no one would disrupt the event or infringe on SPIRIT's right to free speech and to protect the Monument/Statues themselves from any harm/damage/vandalism.

This young lady recounts how she and her friend were assaulted at the event, but saved by the members of the "milia" present and her gratitude for them being there and doing exactly what they said they would do.
