Animation-A-Day: 007

[ Animation-A-Day: 007 ] — Day 7, will I make it to eleven? As an avid gamer in my youth, I felt it was
a must to dedicate this day to the OG of FPS games, Goldeneye 007. Video games have massively inspired my career as a Designer, and human in general.

Also, I knew the Loitte Animation theme I declared for this week would complement the iconic scene perfectly. I wanted the animation to trigger on page scroll, and be able to be manually controlled by the user. For my animation, I will declare that this is a paintball gun, and the magenta is the paint from a paintball.

I hit some technical snags with getting the animation to render properly, and I had an epic computer crash, but that is all a part of the process. In the end, the piece was a bit longer than I imagined and required a lot of scrolling, but I am happy with the result. Now, I am excited to try out more scroll-based animations and see what I can come up with.
