While not as effective as EX Cyrus against Cynthia's extreme battle event, EX Silver does have a good matchup against Ethan's Epic Effort. He is one of the few physical strikers across both Kanto and Johto, a group that becomes even smaller if you limit it to F2P teams. While most Silver builds I've seen run Overheat, this stage becomes a lot easier with Sacred Fire, as you'll be using the same buffs for that as your sync move anyway.

This stage's main gimmick is the constant Accuracy debuffs, which is meant to encourage you to use SS Giovanni with his no-miss passive. Typhlosion's moves and Meganium's buffs also become stronger under sun, which is meant to discourage you to use Silver.

But of course, Silver's not gonna take any of that. Here's how each battle went, and the sync grids used:

The closest thing to an F2P team I could build. This does involve 2 BP units at 3/5, but there's not a lot of options for physical supports in the F2P pool. The other notable one is Event Bugsy, who is less accessible haha. I'm very grateful that the Kanto units are also boosted here as being stuck with Johto units would've made this stage much harder.

My targets for Silver's attacks are a bit all over the place, but it really depends on if BP Morty lands his flinches or not. The important flinches to get are the AOE moves so that the team's accuracy doesn't get debuffed immediately. Morty's defensive buffs and heals are very useful here as well, especially in keeping BP Surge topped up. BP Surge's main contribution is the Attack buffs, but he does tank well enough thanks to First Aid, Endurance, and BP Morty's support.

(As for other F2P teams, I feel like they would involve EX Giovanni [the Mewtwo one] and his Psystrike spam. He'd need a lot of defensive support though.)

On the other hand, I prioritized Meganium here since Jasmine has a harder time tanking her special attacks, and her buffs are annoying to deal with. Jasmine is a great pick for this stage as her trainer move ignores all the accuracy debuffs, though she ideally needs a healer and/or Sp Def buffer to help her against the special moves. Falkner provides useful buffs and tries to fish for flinches with Air Slash - he'd be much better at higher move levels with Aggravation as well as the accuracy buffs.

You'll notice that I don't sync with Silver for the second sync, and that's because I didn't want Ethan's own sync to be sun-boosted. Mega-evolving Steelix also gave more damage with Last Word.

SS Morty is quite good for this stage thanks to his absurd bulk and sustain, and at higher move levels he can even ignore the accuracy debuffs with Sunny Disposition. Leaf counters the accuracy debuffs with her own accuracy buffs, and of course her omni-buffs are very helpful in making the team tankier. She also gets to show off her Iron Tail damage against Sneasel.

Included this here since I didn't know where else to put this haha. Thorton just so happens to be the BV stage that was made for Silver so he gets to show off with the help of Liza's buffs. I also went from one Sunny Day-setting shiny Pokemon to another.
