We went back to Whangarei Heads and this time we trekked a portion of Bream Head Scenic Reserve. The obvious choice when hiking here with kids is the Smugglers Bay Loop Track. It has pretty much everything: a walk on a grassland, a little bit of history, a coastal forest, a pristine beach and of course the stunning views.
