Kabutey is pronounced “Ka-bu-teh.” The name originates from Ghana, West Africa and means translated to English "first born son". His single 'Say Yes (Extended Mix)' was featured on The SongLadder Rising 50 songs on the move. Kabutey was also featured in Smash Up Magazine and BRASH! magazine. The Candy Network added his Hip-Hop single 'Party In Macau' to their 'Unwrapped Candy' playlist on Spotify. In addition to releasing songs and mixes, Kabutey performs live. Some previous shows include rapping original music at MTV Tr3s's Batanga Beach Festival. Furthermore, he performed his DJ sets two years in a row at Gathering In The Grove, Tilt, Taylors and One nightclubs to name just a few.
