The Salt Lake City real estate board's report indicates a 16% decrease in July sales compared to the previous year, totaling 1,116 sales. However, the sell to list percentage for single-family homes is a robust 97% across the two counties.

🏘️ New listings slightly decreased from June to July, a seasonal trend influenced by summer vacations and the school year's start. Active listings year-over-year have dropped nearly a quarter, leading to quicker sales.

🔍 With a current months-of-supply index of 2.4, it's clear that the market is competitive. Homes priced between $500,000 and $700,000 make up 37% of the market in these counties.

💰 The average single-family home price in Salt Lake City has risen to $600,000, reflecting a 2.5% decrease from the previous year but a remarkable $58,000 increase in just 7 months since January.
