Old-Fashioned Chocolate Cake Donuts 🍩 Recipe ⬇️

I’m team yeast donuts but there’s something so comforting and nostalgic about old-fashioned cake donuts! 🥰 You can easily whip up a batch at home with this recipe!! To be honest, I rolled mine out a little too then but they still came out crispy on the outside and nice and tender on the inside ❤️ Don’t skip on the cinnamon because it really adds a nice and warming touch to these!

INGREDIENTS:
Chocolate Cake Donut:
2 cup all-purpose flour
⅔ cup granulated sugar
½ cup cocoa powder
1½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp cinnamon powder
3 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup sour cream, room temperature
2 egg yolks, room temperature
neutral oil, for frying

Glaze:
¼ cup whole milk
1⅔ cup powdered sugar
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
