Passing of the Veil - Joe Paulik

Описание к видео Passing of the Veil - Joe Paulik

Written by Joe Paulik, the music and first two verses in the summer of 1986. Verses three and four, finished in the latter 1980's, were much inspired by "The Veils" chapter in Tom Brown Jr's book The Vision, from which the song derives its title. Recorded by Joe Paulik in 2023, November 6th.

Hey, Bring it on home
Hey, Bring it on home
No more makin silly lies
No more wishin I would die
Call the doctor hug my wife

Hey, isn't life sweet
Hey, isn't life sweet
When the years of futility
Come to life as precious memories
It's insane how I've worried constantly

To find it gone
To find it gone
To find it gone
The cast is gone

Hey, can you believe
Hey, can you believe
That I'm free as the Wind
Like a bird on the wing
I can feel somethins tellin me

Hey, can you believe
Hey, hey, can you believe
That I've found perfect peace
Like a child fast asleep
In my mind the thief has loosed his grip

And now it's gone
And now it's gone
And now it's gone
The veil has passed
