Jordan and the Artisan Electrics team have added a couple of new vans to their fleet which required a custom racking solution in order to maximise their productivity while out in the field.

Together with Jordan, we designed a solution to maximise storage space within the VW Caddy, utilising a raised floor, storage drawers and a storage unit.

The entire ‪@SortimoInternational‬ racking package is bespoke to this van, and we design every solution to meet the use case of each van. For the Artisan VW Caddy, the solution comprises of:

A bespoke floor design to fit the VW Caddy, with a secondary raised floor that is custom cut to fit flush around the wheel arches and fittings in the van.
Three large drawers that fully extend, with anti-slip flooring. Each heavy duty drawer supports over 100kg of weight, even when extended.
Lashing points secured to the van body and new sortimo floor for securing items when travelling.
A bespoke set up storage racking, utilising small drawer bins, larger drawers, multi-compartment storage boxes and a full width drawer.

All Sortimo racking is crash tested, and secured fully to the vehicle itself, ensuring that even in the worst case scenario, everything is safe and secure.

Fitting the Sortimo racking requires a high attention to detail and precision work to ensure al parts fit together correctly for a seamless, incredible looking storage solution.
