One Time (God and the angels) is the second part of a trilogy of songs about brotherhood. It deals with reconciliation and loss. The importance of identifying what is - after all is said and done - still the bond between brothers. Part one of the trilogy was Brothers, the song and animation video, that came out in 2023.

We are totally thrilled and thankful that Jurgen Veenstra (Wh^rl; Avery Plains; Moan) agreed to sing for us. These are such stellar lead vocals! He is truly an artist.
Many thanks also to Ruud Slingerland (Dia del Mercado; Wh^rl; Rudy and his fascinators) who recorded Jurgens vocals.

Hovius Hepbeat (formerly known as JoPie) is a longtime cooperation and friendship between Noud Hovius and Chris Hepbeat. We have grey beards now, but still write, perform, record and produce our music in our attic, in which place we’ve reached for the stars (and world domination of course).
The video is our second animated short made by Noud. The medium of hand drawn story telling seems to add more then just images to our songs.
