On January 1st, 2015, I joined 5 other mountain bikers for the most extreme MTB riding that I had ever done. We crashed, we burned, but we enjoyed ourselves riding 45 kilometres of the high altitude Australian Alpine Epic Trail at Mount Buller in the Victorian high country, a few hours north east of Melbourne.
