Blackpool & Fleetwood Tramway: Illuminations trams and tableaux on Saturday 14th September 2024

On Saturday 14th September 2024, we walked along the cliffs between Gynn Square and Bispham (and return) to photograph and film both the trams of the Blackpool & Fleetwood Tramway and the illuminated tableaux of Blackpool Illuminations.

We saw the illuminated Western Train (733-734) and HMS Blackpool (F736) in action and we bumped into Stephen from "A walk on the wild side" who was livestreaming for his channel. We were disappointed with the tableaux that really are a shadow of their former selves - nowhere near as many and several of them not working.
