A major fire broke out at Satpura Bhawan in Bhopal. Efforts are underway to douse off the blaze. The building houses several state government offices.Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan informed PM Narendra Modi about the unfortunate incident of arson in Satpura Bhawan building. Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan also spoke to Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and sought the help of the Airforce to extinguish the fire.

A large number of Haryana farmers staged protests against the minimum support price for sunflower seed and other demands in Haryana Kurkshetra.
The protesting farmers blocked the Delhi-Haryana national highway demanding fair MSP for sunflower seed. They had gathered on the flyover near Pipli in Kurukshetra district.Apart from leaders of various khaps and Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait, Olympic medal-winning wrestler Bajrang Punia also extended his support to the protesting wrestlers. The protesting farmers claimed that the state government was not buying sunflower seeds at the MSP, and they were forced to sell their produce to private buyers at around at a lesser price

As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the extremely severe cyclonic storm Biparjoy is likely to make landfall near Jakhau port on June 15. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting to review preparations to mitigate the impact of the cyclone.
