In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to download and install the Crates’ UnMult plugin from Production Crate for both Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.

UnMult is a must-have free tool that instantly removes black backgrounds from stock footage (like fire, smoke, or lens flares) and generates a clean alpha channel. It’s much faster and cleaner than using "Screen" blend modes!

🛠️ Installation Quick Guide
Download: Get the Production Crate "Portal" installer for Windows or Mac.

Install: Run the installer to add the LaForge Suite to your Adobe plugins folder.

Activate: Open After Effects or Premiere, search for "Crate's UnMult" in your Effects panel, and drag it onto your clip.
