The “lost” and final part of our #PressPlay roundtable discussion on music and the industry around it here in Vancouver/the west coast of Canada. In this part we go over our thoughts on whether marginalized groups get sufficient funding support, bias and lack of representation in grant programs/recipients, the role of race/representation in music organizations and if certain genres are weighted differently in these same groups. We also briefly touch upon the why and if certain genres are underfunded and why this whole project came to be in the first place.
