Northern California native Colin Dwyer is the youngest competitor asked to compete in the past Mavericks Invitational and the current Titans of Mavericks events held in Half Moon Bay, California. At just 15-years-old, Dwyer paddled out to one of the most dangerous waves in the world for the first time with his father, Steve.

Since that day, Colin Dwyer has been paddling out during some of the heaviest swells to roll into Mavericks. Watch the video below to hear him recount his worst wipeout at the famous break, and the props he gets from big wave hero, Grant Twiggy Baker.
