DOT-Regulated Operators must follow the DOT regulations for drug and alcohol testing, specifically 49 CFR Part 40. The most common examples are truck drivers, bus drivers, pilots, and railroad employees. Since January 1st, 2018 DOT has required confirmation testing for 14 drugs under a 5-panel test. Broken out, here is what DOT drug testing looks like.

Second, Benzoylecgonine - the major metabolite of Cocaine.

Third, the Amphetamines panel includes Methamphetamine, Methylenedioxymethamphetamine commonly known as M.D.M.A or Ecstasy, and Methylenedioxyamphetamine which is commonly known as M.D.A or Molly.

Fourth, the opioid panel includes Codeine, Morphine, Hydrocodone, Hydromorphone, Oxycodone, Oxymorphone, and 6-acetylmorphine which is commonly known as 6AM which is the metabolite of heroin.
