Spent the weekend in the Santa Anita Mountains in LA this weekend with my girlfriend Alana. We did a one night backpacking trip to Spruce Grove Trail Camp. It was absolutely beautiful. It has been raining in LA for the past 2 months so the river was roaring and everything was so green. We started the hike at around 9:30 AM on a Saturday morning. Hiked down to the Sturtevant Falls in about an hour, we took our time. Then, from there turned around and headed up to Spruce Grove Trail Camp. We did the whole 4.5 mile trek in under 4 hours. Again, we took our time and enjoyed nature along the way. Stopping here and there enjoying the nature and refilling our water. It couldn't had been a more perfect weekend. Alana's pack was 22lbs and mine was 32lbs. Would do this hike again in a heartbeat. I had the perfect partner to do it with. I am so proud of her!

I shot this entire trip with my GoPro 7 Hero Black Edition. I used the GoPro Karma Grip to stabilize it. Also, the Grip is amazing for keeping a sufficient battery level. Sadly, I couldn't use Adobe Premier to edit the video because my computer lacks the storage space it takes to hold and edit all of these videos so I just uploaded it to Imovie on my Iphone. Hope you all like it!
