"Graduation" is a journey from self-doubt to self-discovery. As a music creator who spent years seeking validation through endless people-pleasing, this track marks my declaration of independence from external approval. It is a reggaeton dancehall track with a Latin urban pop vibe, sung in English and Kom, my mother tongue (the Kom language is spoken by the Kom tribe of the North-West Region of Cameroon).
After losing my hearing to burnout two years ago, I learned that true growth begins when we stop seeking permission to be ourselves. This song is for anyone who's ever felt trapped by perfectionism, struggled with self-worth, and everyone ready to graduate into their authentic self.
