This Summer has been another wonderful time to learn and grow. Hi everyone! Welcome to Healthy Parenting with Mfon. I am pleased to share with you my passion for children. I desire to see kids grow up to become capable and confident in every of their being. Believe it or not, every child is a product of his early life and we need to lay a good foundation for our kids to thrive, be it physiologically, academically, psychologically and emotionally. We have the power within us as parents to make and to break our kids, but in this channel, we will be given information that will help make our children be what God wants them to be.
🚲 Activities We Did This Summer
Here’s a breakdown of some of the fun activities we enjoyed, which you can easily try with your own kids:
Swimming 🏊
On hot days, we spent time at the pool. Swimming isn’t just great exercise—it’s a fun way for kids to cool off, build confidence in the water, and burn off energy. If you don’t have access to a pool, a simple sprinkler in the yard or even a DIY water balloon game can create just as many laughs!
Bike Riding 🚴
Summer evenings were perfect for bike rides. It gave the kids freedom to explore, get fresh air, and stay active. Whether it’s around the block or in a safe local trail, riding bikes is an inexpensive way to enjoy the outdoors together.
Crafts & DIY Projects 🎨
We turned ordinary days into creative adventures with craft time. From painting to paper crafts, it’s amazing what kids can create when you give them supplies and let their imagination run wild. The best part? You don’t need expensive materials—recycled items, old magazines, and a little glue can go a long way.
Bible Reading & Storytelling 📖
A special part of our summer was spending time together reading the Bible. It helped us slow down, reflect on God’s word, and bond spiritually as a family. For parents, this is such a powerful way to plant seeds of faith and values in your children’s hearts.
Outdoor Play 🌳
Sometimes, the best activities are the simplest ones—like playing tag, kicking a ball, or just having a picnic in the backyard. Fresh air and sunshine can do wonders for kids’ moods and energy.
