From the PMS Calendar page, you are able to extend or shorten a reservation by just dragging the tail of a reservation bar.

A) How to Extend the stay from the PMS Calendar page
Imagine that your guest would like to extend the stay for another night. The current check-in date is 19th May and the check-out date is 20th May. Now, you will need to extend the Check-Out date to 21st May.
Step 1 : From the PMS Calendar page, you may just drag the tail of a reservation from 20th May to 21st May.
Step 2 : Then, a Edit Reservation Room Details popup-box will appear.
Step 3 : On this pop-up window, you will be seeing the reservation check-in date and extended check-out date.
Step 4 : Other than that, on the Room Charges section, you can verify or edit the room charges, if needed.
Step 5 : Once done, just click on the “Save Changes” button, and you have successfully extended the stay of a reservation.

B) How to Shorten the stay from the PMS Calendar page
Imagine that your guest request to shorten the stay due to unavoidable circumstances. The guest is supposed to stay at your hotel from the 19th of May to the 21st of May. Now, you will need to update the check-out date to 20th May instead.
Step 1 : From the PMS Calendar page, you may drag the tail of a reservation backward to 20th May.
Step 2 : On the Edit Reservation Room Details pop-up box, you will see the reservation check-in date and shortened check-out date.
Step 3 : Once done, you can click on the “Save Changes” button.

Well, you can now just drag a reservation to extend or shorten the stay from the PMS Calendar easily. :)
