Kirby 64's Expressive Cutscenes

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards is a colorful and charming package of Kirby goodness. In this game, you follow Ribbon, Kirby, Waddle Dee, Adeleine, and King Dedede as they look to find the 74 missing crystal shards to put Ripple Star's sacred peace-keeping crystal back together. Other than being the first graphically 3D Kirby title, another noteworthy aspect the game offers is 60 frames per second animated cutscenes. However, they don't feature any spoken dialogue, everything is done through character movements. Because of the lack of dialogue, the cutscenes are rather expressive. In this video, I give my thoughts on how the finale of the Dark Matter Trilogy does a fantastic job at presenting its cutscenes and character personalities.
