How to prepare for college calculus | ASU Online

Advanced math like college calculus can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be if you have a solid foundation of simpler math concepts and take the time to practice. Arizona State University math professor, Al Boggess, shares five calculus study tips to help you master your college calculus class.

Boggess recommends reviewing important precalculus concepts before starting a calculus class to make sure you’re prepared to dive into the more advanced calculus topics. Also, as with any complex material, it’s important to manage your time wisely so you have plenty of time to complete the homework and practice.
