The Blackwater Coast was an almost entirely abandoned area between Nortander territory and the realm of Xu.

Around fifteen years after the Convocation the Blackwater Coast then was traveled to by the Order of Dawn and its current leader Urias. He was asked by the scribe, Darius Servil, to meet up with the Phoenix Bearer here. The undead were posing a huge threat though and only with the rune warrior's help, they could be defeated.
