The Execution of George Boleyn - Henry VIII's Brother In Law

Описание к видео The Execution of George Boleyn - Henry VIII's Brother In Law

On the 17th May 1536, the brother of the Queen of England was led towards Tower Hill where the executioner was waiting with him with his axe. The reign of Henry VIII was ruthless and brutal and he was a man who even plotted the downfall of his wife Anne Boleyn who was executed inside the walls of the Tower of London. George Boleyn was the brother of Anne who was shockingly accused of incest and of sleeping with his sister who was the Queen, and this claim today is considered complete nonsense. But the allegations regarding George led to his execution and he was someone who lost his head in one clean swipe of the axe from the skilled executioner of Tower Hill.
