Fantasy Author Interview with Jonathan French about The Grey Bastards

Author interview with epic fantasy writer, Jonathan French. He is the author of The Grey Bastards from Orbit books.

This is my interview with fantasy author, Jonathan French. We talk about his entry into fantasy, his self published books, entering the second SPFBO (Self Published Fantasy Blog Off) competition and then winning.

He subsequently got a book deal and then an agent before the books were published by Crown in America and Orbit in the UK. We also talk about cursing in his books as it is a topic often raised and his discussion with his publisher on the topic.

The Grey Bastards, the sequel The True Bastards are both available and the final part of the trilogy The Free Bastards is published 21 September 2021.
