Aussie electronic duo Peking Duk have been slammed for their performance at the AFLW grand final on Saturday night with some saying they 'eclipsed Meat Loaf' as the worst pre-game entertainment of all-time.

North Melbourne won their 27th straight game on their way to back-to-back AFLW premierships after beating Brisbane 56-16.

Before, in front of a packed house at Ikon Park in Melbourne, Peking Duk warmed up the crowd and put on a forgettable 17-minute set.

Some fans in the stadium even turned to their phones for entertainment as duo Keli Holiday (real name Adam Hyde) and Reuben Styles were performing.

Fans were critical of the duo, with one describing them as 'rubbish'.

'Surely the two AFLW teams and their supporters competing in a grand final deserve better than this rubbish. This may have eclipsed Meat Loaf as the worst pre-match 'entertainment',' one person said.

'Now they are bringing up their friends to perform. Seriously, it's not a garage party in North Fitzroy. This is a train wreck.'

Hyde opened the set with his 2025 hit Dancin2 before joining Styles as Peking Duk behind the decks, welcoming Safia's Ben Woolner, who sang Take Me Over and Say My Name.

The pair were then joined by Zimbabwe-born KYE, who sung Peking Duk's unreleased track, Thrills.
