Abstract: We built a data center in Glarus Süd, Switzerland in the heart of the Alps. It is fully open source and relies on IPv6 which we strongly believe in, because we think that IPv6 will become more important in the near future and will eventually replace IPv4 in the long run. • How to build a whole new data center from scratch, with IPv6 as default • Problems and challenges we have encountered • Different stages of the development process • Current and future challenges of Data Center Light and IPv6

The Swiss Network Operators Group (SwiNOG) is an informal group of people who are concerned with engineering and operation of the Swiss Internet.
SwiNOG (Swiss Network Operators Group) is a community for (not only) Swiss service providers and IT specialists since 24th of february 2000. SwiNOG is analogue to NANOG und DENOG. SwiNOG was founded as the very first European NOG.
SwiNOG exists to enhance the quality of Internet services available in Switzerland. It does this by fostering the free exchange of technical ideas and information between different companies and organisations.
