Strymon Timeline tutorial: Looping in perfect sync

Описание к видео Strymon Timeline tutorial: Looping in perfect sync

If you want to use a looper with drum machines and synths then it's imperative your looper be in perfect sync. For that you need it to be clocked and deliver a precise loop length and a start point in sync with all your other devices.
Happily the Strymon Timeline can do this easily when teamed with a sequencer. Record, start and stop commands (and others) can be delivered by MIDI note number. Here I'm using an Arturia Keystep-37 to send the commands to the Timeline which captures an audio loop from the DB-01. Even better, the process is absolutely seamless - and in stereo! This is something even many expensive dedicated looper pedals can't easily achieve.
Take things a step further and you can sequence all sorts of interesting audio manipulations using the looper function.
If you're impatient and just want the guts of the method, watch from 4:11 to 7:30.
