Скачать или смотреть 3D Printed Temu Terrain: Is it Worth It?

My wife got me this 3D printed terrain for me from Temu. I haven’t worked with 3D printed minis or terrain before, so I was going in totally blind.

I primed the set with black then hit the stone parts with a dry brush and the wood with a layer of brown. Then added some stain for grime on the stone and wood grain in the planks.

I’m pretty happy with how it looks and can’t wait to show my players in a battle.

Pros:
-Great way to add tactical verticality to DND
-Design looks nice
-Easy to paint
-Modularity allows for custom arrangements

Cons:
-Scale feels a little off. The stairs are both too big and not big enough for minis to stop on
-Price ($19 might be a little bit high)

What I learned:
-Sanding a 3d print seems super necessary to get smooth objects (I didn’t do it at all this time)
-Less is more for painting terrain (I tried too many layers of color on some of the pieces and it took too long to color correct)
-The IKEA effect may be strong here, but I really felt a sense of pride when it was all put together

Worth it? I think so. The price is a little higher than I would like, but the quality seems decent.
