What a day to remember—both for the wrong and the right reasons! This was my final race in the Simucube GT Sprint Series at Sebring, with a Strength of Field of 3621. I was car #28, starting in 26th after setting my personal best qualifying lap of the week (under 2:01!). Unfortunately, my race took a turn for the worse in Lap 1. I had no chance to avoid a car that spun in front of me, and I crashed head-on, breaking my front-right axle.

The damage forced me to spend 7–8 minutes in the pits. To make matters worse, I accidentally hit the pit limiter and got a 40-second penalty. By the time I rejoined, I was 4–5 laps down, but I decided to push on and finish the race, crossing the line in 24th on the last drops of fuel. The result? -0.12 Safety Rating, -20 iRating, and 5 incident points. It was a tough day, but I finished what I started.

What makes today special, though, is that it marks exactly one year since I reached 1,000 followers on YouTube. Since then, I’ve been monetized and now earn between €15–25 per month—not much, but that’s not why I do this. I do it because I love racing, I love sharing my passion with all of you, and I love my incredible setup: racing in my D-Box full-motion simulator on a 57-inch monitor. Sebring, with its bumpy surface, feels so immersive—it shakes you up like the real thing!
