Non-Conventional Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs) in the Last Mile with Grey Zone Implications

Описание к видео Non-Conventional Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs) in the Last Mile with Grey Zone Implications

Boston Engineering presented “Demonstrating the Effects Web of Non-Conventional UUVs in the ‘Last Mile’ with Implications for the Grey Zone” at the 2020 Undersea Warfare Conference. Boston Engineering's David Shane identifies an U.S. Navy opportunity gap related to currently deployed unmanned underwater vehicles, their ability to access congested and contested areas, and possible effects. The video also provides an overview of Boston Engineering’s maritime profiling devices, and how this technology can help to address this opportunity gap.

The video also previews a Boston Engineering demonstration of non-conventional UUV and maritime profiling device collaboration in a VSW operating area to support ‘last mile’ operations.
