After several months of planning and heightened anticipation, SDCC finally arrived and passed—and it was nothing short of a brilliant experience for all of us here at BAIT. It was the first Comic Con convention for most of us, and the eclectic environment was a refreshing surge of energy and excitement. Hot girls, friendly people, wild costumes, nights of drinking, waves of crowds, and most satisfying, a successful debut of our urban lifestyle brand: BAIT.

Showcasing an exclusive and limited collection of urban footwear, clothing, and products that successfully meld pop-culture into wearable, displayable, high-end fashion, our booth caught the attention of "nerds," sneakerheads, executives, and celebrities alike.
Among our most neck-breaking pieces was our exclusive BAIT x Creative Recreation x Spongebob collection set for release in the end of August. Based on the popular Nickelodeon cartoon, Spongebob Square Pants, the collection features designs fashioned on our favorite characters, Spongebob, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, and Patrick, each getting their own signature sneaker and cap. "Each sneaker in the collection is laced with a special edition print and has been lined with an animation of the character itself. The shoe sits atop a White vulcanized sole, with the same design seen in translucent outsole." Thanks Jazerai Lord of KicksOnFire.com, we couldn't have said it better ourselves.

Our exclusive BAIT x ASICS "Rings" Pack also garnered A LOT of attention. The pack, designed to invoke the superhero spirit of the London games, is comprised of a quintet of shoes, each one uniquely doused to match the color of a corresponding Olympic ring. Each Jam-packed with micro details, there will be a limited quantity of the blue ring and yellow ring silhouettes available starting end of July! Along with the "Rings" Pack, we also displayed our BAIT exclusive Marvel statues collectibles. They will be available exclusively at BAIT starting mid-September and features Captain America, Wolverine, the Incredible Hulk, Black Spiderman, and Deadpool. This collection was a definite hit with the comic-loving audience.

Cartoons are no longer for just kids, and neither is the apparel that is inspired by them.
