Game Apologist - Sonic the Hedgehog

Welcome to the extra long, extra amateur pilot episode of the Game Apologist! Every episode we look at a bad or controversial video game and squeeze out as much enjoyment as possible while turning a blind eye to the many horrific downsides.

We kick off with one of the most divisive game series to ever exist: Sonic the Hedgehog. While the blue blur certainly has more than a couple titles worthy of examination on this show, the original Genesis games are still considered gaming masterpieces...right?

With more and more of gaming media turning up their noses at even the best of the series, we have to go back to the very beginning and ask: Was Sonic ever good?

I'm still brand new at this Youtube thing, so please forgive any shoddy editing/recording/etc. as I get the hang of things. I also just now realize that I did not do a good job of sourcing any of this material, so please drop me a line if you see some work of yours that needs some props or whatever the case is. Almost all of this stuff was from Google image searches.
