12ED Wire Flame Spray Equipment : Thermal Spray Gun (4K)

The Metal Coat 12ED Wire Flame Spray Gun is a state-of-the-art electric drive wire flame spray gun. The equipment is powered by an AC motor which ensures a constant wire feed rate, thereby preventing any variation in speed.

The constant wire feed rate makes it very easy to spray hard wire such as Molybdenum, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, etc. and results in the development of extremely fine coatings. The 12ED Wire Flame Spray Model requires comparatively less maintenance compared with other thermal spray guns. The Metal Coat 12ED combustion flame spray gun can be used to spray hard wires such as Stainless Steel, Molybdenum, etc.

About the Wire Flame Spray Technology
The Combustion Wire Thermal Spray Process is the spraying of molten metal onto a surface to provide a coating. Feedstock material in wire form is melted in an oxy-acetylene/propane flame (most common), and atomized using compressed air to form a fine spray When the spray contacts the prepared surface of substrate material, the fine molten droplets rapidly solidify forming the coating.
